Held Accountable

Hebrews 4:13: "Nothing in all creation is hidden from God's sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of Him to whom we must give an account."

God sees all. No matter how well you hide the sin that is in your life, you cannot hide anything from God. Even when your sin is within; God sees the heart. God sees your motives behind your actions, even those deeds which are good, He knows where your heart is and your intentions behind your actions.
Know that the sin that is in your life, you will be held accountable for when you stand before God on Judgement Day. Sin can separate you from God and hinder your relationship with Jesus Christ.
God has sent His Holy Spirit and now we may be filled with the Holy Spirit, through the evidence of speaking in other tongues and the power to be a witness for the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Once filled with the Holy Spirit, we are given a level of conviction. Conviction, though it can hurt, is a sweet thing. Conviction points out the sin that is in our life and where we fall short of the glory of God. The key is to respond to when the Holy Spirit convicts you of your wrong and be quick to repent and to turn from your wicked ways.
Through this process, a child of God grows.

This may be straight forward and blunt, but I believe it is incredibly important. In a world where most churches do not confront people about the sin that is in their life and that do not allow the Holy Spirit to work through men and women of God to convict the people of the church, it is vitally important to the body of Christ that the remnant of those who seek God's face rise up. Jesus is returning for a Bride without spot nor blemish. The church, around the world, must clean up and prepare ourselves for the return of Jesus Christ as He receives us unto Himself.

Hey, well that last comment is...um...how should I put it? A little odd, for lack of better terms, anyways, nice post I think you are right about you being a little blunt and forward, yet you are also right in the fact that the church as a whole tends to avoid "scaring" people, by not preaching about God's judgment. However, my real reason I want to comment was what you said about the church “Must clean up and prepare ourselves for the return of Jesus Christ…” May I suggest a slightly paradoxical statement, Are we to clean ourselves up or is God/Jesus/the Holy Sprit? I think it is more of a question if either you think “woe is me helpless sinner, only God has authority in my life, I have no decision if I am to follow God or not…OR Thank God for my freewill, Since I freely chosen Him, I freely worship, pray, praise…etc…Him.” If you can’t tell, I am all about the freewill! Now, I know it might seem like I am picking at your post a little too closely, But I hope it gives you a slightly different opinion, then the norm.
Again, nice post and hopefully you won’t see anymore theological rants from me!
