Held Accountable

Hebrews 4:13: "Nothing in all creation is hidden from God's sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of Him to whom we must give an account."

God sees all. No matter how well you hide the sin that is in your life, you cannot hide anything from God. Even when your sin is within; God sees the heart. God sees your motives behind your actions, even those deeds which are good, He knows where your heart is and your intentions behind your actions.
Know that the sin that is in your life, you will be held accountable for when you stand before God on Judgement Day. Sin can separate you from God and hinder your relationship with Jesus Christ.
God has sent His Holy Spirit and now we may be filled with the Holy Spirit, through the evidence of speaking in other tongues and the power to be a witness for the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Once filled with the Holy Spirit, we are given a level of conviction. Conviction, though it can hurt, is a sweet thing. Conviction points out the sin that is in our life and where we fall short of the glory of God. The key is to respond to when the Holy Spirit convicts you of your wrong and be quick to repent and to turn from your wicked ways.
Through this process, a child of God grows.

This may be straight forward and blunt, but I believe it is incredibly important. In a world where most churches do not confront people about the sin that is in their life and that do not allow the Holy Spirit to work through men and women of God to convict the people of the church, it is vitally important to the body of Christ that the remnant of those who seek God's face rise up. Jesus is returning for a Bride without spot nor blemish. The church, around the world, must clean up and prepare ourselves for the return of Jesus Christ as He receives us unto Himself.

A New Life.

John 3:16-18:
"For God so loved the world that He gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God's one and only Son."

1 John 4:10
"This is love: not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins."

2 Corinthians 7:10
"Godly sorrow brings repentance that leads to salvation and leaves no regret, but worldly sorrow brings death."

These passages of Scripture from the Holy Bible clearly outline that Jesus has made the ultimate sacrifice by giving His life for you as a sacrifice, so that you may be saved from your sin and made clean from all of the evil that is in your life. Jesus not only gave His life, but He also rose from the dead and is alive and well. He is ever present in His people that live here on Earth. He is the way, the truth, and the life according to the Gospels. It also states that no man comes to the Father and is made part of the family of God unless they first go through Jesus and receive Him as their personal Lord and Savior.
All people need salvation. Salvation through Jesus Christ is the only way to Heaven. And it also gives people the power while they are on Earth to live a victorious life of freedom and joy in God.
To receive salvation, one must be drawn by the Holy Spirit and have that Godly sorrow as the above passage spoke about. You can pray from the heart and cover these things in your prayer: confess that you are a sinner in need of a Savior, that you repent of your sins and are in need of Jesus in your life so that you can turn from those sins and walk a better life, state that you believe that Jesus died for your sins and arose from the grave. Ask Jesus to come into your heart and life and ask the Holy Spirit to make room for Himself in your life and heart. Receive Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior and make a commitment to follow Him and the way of life that is outlined throughout the Holy Bible.
Then find a Bible-believing church and Godly Christians who live by the truth to help council you in the way of the Lord.
Your new life begins as you begin to live a life that is honorable towards God and when you surrender yourself to Him.

If anyone reads this and becomes a believer in the one true God, the Lord Jesus Christ and receives Him as their Savior, please leave me a comment and ask any questions that you may have.

May God be made glorious throughout His church!

~The World~

1 John 2:15,
"Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him."

As hearts of men desire more and more materialistic possessions and pleasures of this world, the love of the Father declines. Too many people today have turned away from the truth and have chosen to deny God and live for the pleasures of this world. Others have struggled with the truth and their relationship with Jesus, because of how they continue to hold on to certain things in their life that pleases their fleshly desires. The Holy Bible clearly states that we are not to love the things of this world. It is obvious that we are not to love the clearly stated sins of the Bible, such as immorality, hatred, homosexuality, murder, lust, etc.

But I propose this truth: that a deeper level of not loving the things of this world is parallel to not loving anything that is not of God and that not benefit your walk with Christ and the moving of the Holy Spirit. This also includes not loving your carnal dreams, aspirations, goals, interests, that have been derived from your selfish fleshly nature and own human mind. If you love anything that does not align with the Word of Almighty God and His divine will and plan for your life, than the love of the Father is fading in your life.
We must guard ourselves, for as the Bible states: we are in this world as children of God, but we must not be of the world. We are set apart in God and are called to be missionaries unto the lost.

We are to be lights unto the darkness, a city that cannot be hid, the salt of this earth. Let's make difference for Christ, shall we!?!

My First Go Around

Opening my new blog, I am excited about being able to share my thoughts and beliefs to the world. This first go around on posting blogs will cover my intentions for, "From Day to Day."
I believe that Jesus is Lord. He is my Savior and my Lord. This blog will glorify God in all things and share the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ to the world, letting people everywhere know that there is only one God and only one way to get to Heaven. That is, through Jesus Christ and the washing away of sins by His blood.
Though this page will consist of a plethora of topics, my main goal is to express my beliefs in God and the Bible.
I pray that this page will change people's lives and encourage those who are already believers of the gospel. I also hope to receive feedback from those who have questions, concerns, or would like to give a word of support.
May you come to know God.

"For we must all appear before the judgement seat of Christ that each one may receive what is due him for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad."
